What time to be there? ABSVS believes that students should come to school unless have a good reasoning not to.
Our school is student centered, so what's school without our students.
We do not make a big deal about our students being late.
School does not start until 11a.m. so that is really not an issue except for the occasional people.
If you miss school you will be able to make up he work,
but you will need a note a phone call will suffice.
If you miss more than 15 days of school and do not have a note for your excessive absences,
you will not be able to miss any days during the next semester,
you will be sent to your neighborhood school (there may be some exceptions). What happens if I fight? The violence policy at ABSVS is that the student or students that start the fight will be punished.
Meaning the first person(s) to approach the other person(s) or hit this person(s) will be punished.
Unless the person that was approached to said or did something that lead up to this fight.
This student will be suspended the days depend on how big or little the fight was. If a student assaults another office school grounds they will not get in trouble from school, but from the police.
At our school we do not use metal detectors or x-ray machines we trust our students and they do not carry bags anyway.
If students are caught with weapons meaning guns or knives you will be expelled and it will end up on your permanent record
What to wear?Our school does not require uniforms, but we do require that you dress appropriate for your odor classes with the live stock.
We do not require our students to wear uniforms because we want our students to show there individuality.
Everyone is their individual person and that is how we let our students show that with our no uniforms policy.
Students can not literally wear anything.
Our students spend a lot of their time outside learning about and tending to the animals,
so girls do not come in with short skirts and guys do not come in with sagging pants. His is
Shirts with logos are fine they are expressing their selves.
Cheating
Cheating is unacceptable no matter what. Cheating on anything tests, quizzes, homework, and etc. will find you suspended. There is no reason why a student should have to cheat on a test or anything for that matter,
because we offer tutoring from teachers and fellow students.
If students share or copy answers off of an independent assignment and get caught they will have to serve a detention and to do this assignment over with extra work added to it. If a student plagiarizes from the internet they will be suspended
(the amount of days depends on how important he paper they plagiarized was).
Students will not be able to make up work they cheated on;
they will have to stick with the grade they received which is a zero.
If this incident is repeated you will receive an "F" in this class and will have to go to summer school to retake the course.
